Beyond Words
A different
experiential approach combining the power of horses with the
principles of transactional analysis. This one-day workshop offers
the opportunity to experience this unique way of working first hand
by taking part in a group session. It will involve activities on the
ground with a number of horses designed to facilitate self
reflection, change
behaviour patterns and develop self confidence.
This one- day workshop is for therapists and other professionals who
are interested in Equine Assisted Psychotherapy both for referring
clients or those interested in training in this field. You will
understand how this work can be effective in working with a range of
clients including young people with challenging behaviour.
The workshops will be held at Drybeck Farm, Armathwaite, Carlisle,
Cumbria CA4 9ST in the picturesque Eden Valley located close to the
Lake District. A range of accommodation is available in the local
area. Accessible by car and train on the Carlisle to Settle route.
The workshop will have a maximum group size of 8. To book send a
