Travelling North on the M6

• Leave the M6 at junction 41, then at roundabout take the 4th exit onto the B5305 (signposted Penrith, Carlisle A6)

• At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A6 (signposted Carlisle)

• Continue forward onto the A6. passing through Plumpton until just before High Hesket.

• Turn right (signposted Armathwaite)

 Travelling South on the M6

• Leave the M6 at junction 42

• Take the 2^nd Exit onto the A6 (signposted Penrith)

• Continue forward onto the A6 passing through Low Hesket and past High Hesket

• Turn Left (signposted Armathwaite).

 Then

• Follow the unclassified road to Armathwaite

• At T-junction turn right and continue forward under the viaduct to Armathwaite.

• At the centre of Armathwaite turn left (signposted Wetheral)

• Pass through Lockhills, look for turn on the right. There is a railway viaduct to the left of the road immediately opposite the turn.

• Follow the narrow road down the hill until a farm entrance is found and the road turns sharply to the left.

• You have arrived at Drybeck Farm.
