Blue is our 17 year old grey
mare, who has a fantastic temperament especially with children. We bought
her 3 years ago she was a highly strung show jumper, without any brakes and
totally gorgeous, it was
love at first sight. After spending time retraining Blue and ourselves, she
is a different horse and the ‘alpha’ mare in our herd.
Flash is our liver chestnut welsh pony. He is 9 years old and we have had him for 3 years. A much loved first riding pony for Coral’s children. He has character, can be unpredictable and takes time to trust new people. We think that he may have been abused in the past. Flash now has a home for life with us.
Showka is our striking colored 3 year old Cob, new to us in March 05. He had never been riddenand in the brief time (2 weeks) Showka had been hadled by humans he experienced significant trauma. We intended to buy an experienced horse and came back with Showka. It has been an exciting 12 months for us and him. We used natural horsemanship methods to introduce him to the human world of stables, grooming, ridding and much more. Showka is ideal for this work as he loves people, is naturally affectionate and trusting.
